Discover the origins of the Master Sword in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. You’ll play as Link as you search the skies and travel to far-flung lands on your quest to find your childhood friend, Zelda. On the way you’ll battle deadly foes, solve puzzles and fly among the cloud line on a Loftwing bird.

This remastering of the original 2011 Wii game has been optimised for the Nintendo Switch, so it now features smoother motion controls and a new button control system. This makes the game playable in both handheld mode and on the Nintendo Switch Lite – so you can play it in the back of a car or while you’re tucked up in bed.

In this HD edition of the original game, you can also use two Joy-Con controllers to wield Link’s weapons. Lift the left controller to block with the shield or swing the right controller to attack with the sword. You can also use these controller movements to fire arrows or throw bombs at in-game enemies.
