In Pikmin 1, the unfortunate Captain Olimar crashes his spaceship on an uncharted planet. Worry not, the native Pikmin and are ready to help! Collect the tiny plant people and use their skills to rebuild the spaceship and get home. In Pikmin 2, Olimar’s back with his friend, Olie. And this time around, it’s not about survival, it’s about getting rich! Control both space explorers and use Pikmin to collect all the precious treasure you can find.

– Using the various Pikmin is like solving a puzzle – you’ll need to gather and use the correct number of the right Pikmin varieties
– Original Pikmin come in several varieties – there are the fireproof red ones, jumping yellow ones and water-resistant blue ones
– Pikmin 2 introduces two more varieties, you can recruit the poisonous whites or the powerful purples
– Pikmin 2 even has a local multiplayer – you can compete or cooperate with the two captains on a split screen
